Recipe: Freezer to Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Broccoli
Having dinner ready when you get home, makes the evening go better and you are less likely to choose foods that are not so good for you because you are starving. Prepare ahead meals make dinner much easier and quicker than take out.
Ingredients
- 1 -½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ c. diced onion
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 c. organic low sodium chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese*
- 1 – 12 oz package frozen broccoli*
Write on bag:
- "Add cream soup before cooking. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 7-8 hours. About an hour before your will serve it add broccoli and a bar of cream cheese and mix well.
Instructions:
Serves 4-5:
Can be served with another vegetable on the side, or some quinoa.
